"Kabale Nyuntyung" "Purnama" and "Jeruk Manis" sounding genuine Sundanese, The other remaining songs more like regular songs from that period ( 1966 )

"Parada Kota Kembang"
Bands:
"Melodi Ria" - Conductor: Rachman A.
"Gita Remadja" - Conductor: Iskandar.
Genre partly Sundanese.
Year: 1966.
On the cover: "Parade Kota Kembang" Kota Kembang = Flower City, the nickname of Bandung, the capital of West Java, in this province the Sundanese language and cultural identity prevails.
The record is in a bad state, I think the number 2 worst from my collection. So be prepared, although I cleaned it with crackle removing software.
Upit Sarimanah, Fenty Effendi, Etty Bardjah and Nenny Triana, are known from other recordings ( from my knowledge ) from the last 2 mentioned artists there are playlists on this blog.
Many songs composed by Kosaman Djaja, a name to remember, another founder of Sundanese modern music is Mang Koko.
Her under a review of the songs.
"Dicandung" Nice exemple of Sunda modern Pop from the sixties, typical is the complicated intro of the song. a nice one, like it.
"Potret Kekasihku" A picture of my loved one - Just a sentimental song, not typical Sundanese.
"Kabale Nyuntyung" a duet in moderate Sunda modern.
"Purnama" - Full moon- in classical way.
"Adikku lahir" - My newborn brother or sister - Not typical sundanes, just a song. This is from a very damaged track from the LP
"Cikapundung" is played in "Kroncong" style.
"Menunggu" - Waiting - Nice solid voice by the singer.
"Ketud" Another modern song by Nenny Triana,
"Jangan Menangis" - Don't cry - It is not Sundanese in style, just a song, could be from anywhere.
"Jeruk Manis" - Sweet Citron - Upit Sarimanah is mostly maintaining the classical Sundanese style.
"Peupendeuyan Leuweung" by Aji Satrianah. Another nice song, good voice, a bit on the low scale, like Tuty Subardjo and Anna Mathovani.
"Galeundreung" by Dianar Adam. More ore less done in the old fashioned way of singing from the fifties.
